Acoustic Guitars (nylon string)
This type of string (formerly made of gut) is used for classical guitars or those from much older families such as the lute.
The sound of these guitars is obviously rounder, warmer and richer in the midrange than its steel-string counterparts, but much weaker too, as it is more suited to solo and polyphonic playing.
Over the years and with the help of technical progress, I have however managed to amplify and use some of these instruments in concert, to my great pleasure.
