A man of basses
"Vital" basses over the years
Éric Rebeyrol in The Limelight!
Eric Rebeyrol is the bass player with Minimum Vital since 1982. Originally trained guitarist, he suddenly switched to bass guitar just in order to join the band… and never left the bass since!
He is also a multi-instrumentalist as he can play the saxophone and the trumpet. Although his dedication to Minimum Vital is quite exemplary, he sometimes dared to make some extra trips with other bands, such as D-Zakord ensemble, lead by bassist Erik Baron.
Through the years, he played different bass models in order to follow the evolution of the music. Here is a list in pictures of his main axes, illustrated by a few stage shots.
